Did you know...

  • Only 6% of the 58 million Americans using the Internet are Black.

  • Less than one-third of all Black households own personal computers.

  • Only 23.5% of all Black households in the U.S. have Internet access, compared with 41.5% of all U.S. house-holds. And the gap is growing.

  • Only 18.9% of Blacks in the U.S. use the Internet at home, compared with one-third (33.3%) of the U.S. population.

  • Income and education account for only half of the Internet access gap between Blacks and Whites in the U.S.
