The purpose of the Get Online! Project is to provide project coordinators with a comprehensive planning and implementation guide for conducting Get Online! Sunday events within their own communities to bridge the "digital divide."

During the national Black Family Technology Awareness Week project coordinators will conduct grassroots Get Online! Sunday events in their communities on Sunday, February 9, 2003. 

The Get Online! Project CD-ROM and companion web-based resources provide step-by-step instructions in an online course, technical assistance, and digital templates for all project phases from building coalitions to obtaining funding to getting press coverage (e.g. PowerPoint presentations, letters, press releases, grant proposal, evaluation instruments, etc).
