The parent company in which Sheila and Gina are principals, Executive Performance, LLC, also owns and operates MiddleSchoolKidz.com and Violet Collection.  Each of these enterprises employs a culturally dynamic learning approach.  Since life and learning are not always compartmentalized into neat little distinct categories, many times certain topics/themes on our sites may overlap.  Lifelong Learning is an enormous, amorphous, and dynamic field of study.

You may ask, why are we so passionate about lifelong learning? Our answer is probably best summed up  by the following quote

Clearly, Einstein understood that life is sustained by learning - from womb to tomb, cradle to grave.

Learning is not confined to the young, the school-age, or the working professional. 

The lifelong learning process begins before you are born and continues until the moment you die. 

Most of us learn to feed ourselves, play, walk, socialize, talk, tie our shoes, read, write, and sing (some of us better than others). 

Many of us learn to type, ride a bike, play instruments, and participate in sports. 

Some of us learn to use a computer, balance our checkbooks, heal the sick and injured, counsel the troubled, communicate fluently in a second or third language, manage a business, keep house, change diapers, drive, pump gas, crochet, sew, cook, and shop (many of our sorors from Delta Sigma Theta Sorority excel at this!).

A fearless few of us even learn to maintain great relationships, use tools to repair or assemble "things," erect buildings, change our own oil (yuck!), paint beautiful pictures (wow!), ...and the list of lifelong learnings goes on indefinitely.
